Quality Photo Winner
"Just in time for Christmas"
Benson Seale, Alabama
What better way to preserve the hunt of a lifetime than with a high-quality photograph? Westervelt Wildlife Services runs its annual Quality Photo Contest each hunting season. The winner receives a $500 gift certificate and is featured in the spring newsletter. Look for more information in the fall edition of Westervelt Outdoors.
What Makes A Quality Photograph?
- Pictures taken during the day are best. Use the flash, even during the day.
- Choose a well-lit, natural setting that is aesthetically pleasing (avoid skinning shed, vehicles, 4-wheelers, houses, etc.).
- Clean the animal and hunter up, removing as much blood as possible.
- Take your time, and take as many photographs of the animal and hunter from as many angles as possible.
